What is Community Bible Study International (CBSI)?

It is a non-denominational Bible Study celebrating our unity in Christ.

What is the History of CBSI?

CBS was founded in the USA in 1975 with one single class. By 2006 there were over 620 classes with tens of thousands participating weekly.

CBS International was established in five countries with 14 classes in 1992. This has now grown to close to over 50 countries and almost 40 plus languages, with numerous classes—and growing every day.

Why does CBSI exist?

Community

We want to build a community of people interested in enriching their spiritual lives through the study of God’s Word and caring for each other. “By this all will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.” John 13:35

Bible

The Bible is the Word of God– 2 Peter 1:21

The Bible provides wisdom—2 Timothy 3:15

The Bible is our Handbook of Life—2 Timothy 3:17

Study

We must take the time to read and understand God’s Word in context, and apply it to our lives.

International

Our aim is : Every in the world...in the Word
