Who We Are

Welcome to Community Bible Study International (CBSI) Asia Pacific

CBSI is the international arm of Community Bible Study (CBS) - the interdenominational Bible study ministry established in Bethesda, Maryland, USA in 1975. There a group of women started meeting every week to do intensive Bible study. Today there are over 600 CBS classes in the USA serving women, men and children.

CBSInternational has its roots in classes started in London and Lima (Peru) in 1990. Today there are classes and groups meeting in 70 different countries, studying God's Word in over 40 different languages.

In the Asia/Pacific Region we work in 16 different countries (so far) with some translation work having been done in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Tagalog, Cebuano, Fijian, Thai, Bahasa Malayu, Burmese, Naga, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Nepali

We present a unique program of Bible Study, designed to strengthen and raise up disciples of Jesus Christ.
